With a heavy heart we regret to inform you CCFD has lost another retired member. Kevin Howell past away yesterday evening after battling health issues. He was hired on April 25th, 1975 as the 32nd Firefighter at CCFD. He was later promoted to the 19th Operator position and served his community with pride, commitment and compassion. Kevin was the father of Deputy Carl Howell who gave his life in the line of duty to protect and serve Carson City and its citizens. Rest easy brother we'll take it from here. ... See MoreSee Less
